Key Enhancements

Team Members Auto-Removal on Conversion

“Team Members” are automatically removed from the team member list when a record is converted between “Confidential” and “Restricted”. This feature applies only to “Record Management”.
Inactivation of Users with References
AdminUsers

In “Admin” when inactivating a user with references in multiple modules, a dialog box shows the list of modules. The admin can notify specific module managers or click the “Notify All Managers” button to inform all relevant managers simultaneously.

Tracking not Verified Closed Action Items

In the “Problem Management” module, when a user opens the detail page of an open OFI, they are redirected to either the “Containment or Corrective Action Items” page, depending on which one is marked as not “Verified Closed”. If both are not “Verified Closed”, the user is directed to the “Containment Action Items” page.

Widget Colour Modification

The “Dashboard” widget colours have been subtly lightened to enhance visual appeal and provide a more refined experience. 

Formatted Excel Report

The data in the “Excel Report” is now formatted for better readability. Columns are more structured, text is wrapped, widths are adjusted, and borders have been added. This enhancement applies to “Legal and Other Requirement Management”and “Risk Management”.

Inactive and Bulk Edit Operations

Users can “Inactivate” or “Bulk Edit” their own records from both the register and detail views. If a user selects the records of other users from the register view for the “Inactivate” or “Bulk Edit” operation, an alert will prompt them to review their selections. This feature is available in “Asset Management”, “Document Management”, “Problem Management”, and “Supplier Management”.

Key Enhancements

Refined Delete & Inactive Actions

The “Delete” action has been changed to “Inactive,” and “Permanently Delete” has been renamed to “Delete.” This update ensures a clearer distinction between temporary deactivation and permanent removal. This feature applies to Asset Management, Document Management, Record Management, Supplier Management, Problem Management, and Training Management modules.

Record Management - Records Access

“Record Managers” and “Record Owners” can access public and confidential records, except for restricted ones, which are limited to owners and authorized users. General users, auditors, and unassigned users are excluded from this feature. All users have view access but can only modify their own files and folders. Alerts are triggered when moving public files or folders to confidential or restricted, and confidential files or folders to restricted.

Streamlined LOR Management & Compliance Integration

The LOR Edit UI is enhanced, and the compliance step is now part of the assessment. The LOR Register list view includes “Last Review Date” and “Next Review Date” columns. In Bulk Edit, “Next Review Date” auto-sets based on “Last Review Date,” improving usability and efficiency.

Enhanced Deletion for Non-System Users

The delete functionality for non-system users has been improved for better management and efficiency in Admin.

Enhanced Email Copy Feature

User emails are now displayed below usernames, with a copy icon. Clicking the icon copies the email instantly for easy access in Admin.

Risk Step Renamed to Residual Risk Analysis

The “Risk” step has been renamed to “Residual Risk Analysis” for better clarity and alignment with risk assessment processes.

Release Notes 25.01

Key Enhancements

One-Click User Data Export
AllUsersExport

Admins can now export all user data in CSV or Excel format with a single click using the “Export” button on the All Users page. The button features a dropdown menu for selecting the desired format, ensuring seamless data management and reporting.

Simplified User Status Tracking

The “Start Date” and “Termination Date” fields are now “Activation Date” and “Inactivation Date”. These fields default to the current date when a user is activated or inactivated and remain editable.

Streamlined LOR Import with Auto-Assignment

LOR Users can now import LORs, just like LOR Managers. Imported LORs are automatically assigned to the user, while those created by a manager remain unassigned by default for flexible allocation.

Enhanced Multi-Location Handling

Multi-location activation requires at least one location. Deleting a location with module references is restricted until references are removed. Removing all locations automatically disables the multi-location feature.

Enhanced User Experience for Registers

The Registers UI has been enhanced with updated buttons, improved quick filters, and optimized element positions for better usability. The Risk Register and LOR Register now include dropdowns for stage and team filters, with export and bulk edit buttons repositioned for a more streamlined experience.

Smart Handling of Linked Documents

In Document Management, deleting a linked document triggers an alert displaying its associations with Control and Sub-Control. Confirming the deletion will automatically delink the document from Risk Management.

Now, as you type, the options are dynamically filtered based on your search input, making it easier and faster to find the relevant selections.

Instant Access to Linked Documents

Linked documents are now displayed directly in the Control Register and Sub-Control Register, providing quicker and easier access without additional navigation. You can simply click to open or download the document as needed.

New Delete Icon Added on Detail View Screen

A Delete icon has been added to the detail view screen of any record, located next to the “+” icon. Once a record is deleted, you will see options to “Undo,” “Permanently Delete,” or view the “Deleted Record” directly on the detail view screen. This feature is now available in Problem Management, Supplier Management, and Training Management.

New Option to Export Control Register (SoA) with Control Attributes

A new feature has been added to the Risk Management Control Register (SoA) export functionality. You can now choose to include “control attributes” when exporting the Control Register, allowing for more detailed reporting and documentation.

Handling Updates and Deletions for Closed OFIs

Once an OFI (Opportunity for Improvement) is closed, it can no longer be updated or deleted. If you try to modify or remove a closed OFI, an alert message will notify you that the action is not allowed.

Convert a Non-System user to a System user

To ensure better integration and management within the system, it may be necessary to convert non-system users into system users. This process aligns their access and privileges with the system’s standardized protocols. Applicable for Administrator.

Other Enhancements

MSAT now provides predefined templates for importing data from spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Applicable modules are Asset Management, Document Management, Problem Management, Record Management, Supplier Management, and Training Management. Applicable role is Manager.

Badges for Upcoming & Overdue Assets/Suppliers

Badges highlight upcoming and overdue records in list views, making it easy to identify them. Applicable modules are Asset Management, Supplier Management. Applicable for all roles.

Optional visibility controls in standard

A new toggle feature has been added to the list of standard user interfaces (UIs) to help manage the visibility of controls and sub-controls in your system. You can enable or disable the display of these elements based on your preference to enhance usability and efficiency. Applicable module is Risk Management. Applicable role is Manager. 

Ensure the legislation title and filename are identical

To maintain clarity and  of reference, it is crucial that the ease title of the legislation and its corresponding filename are identical. This ensures that anyone accessing the document can easily identify its contents without confusion. Applicable module is Legal & other requirement management. Applicable roles are Manager and Users.

Key Enhancements

Easier Access to 'My Records'

Your data is now more accessible than ever in the “My Records” section of the Register. For a detailed view, simply click on “All Records.” By default, the view is set to “My Records” for your convenience. This feature is available in both Problem Management and Training Management.

Improved Deleted Record Management with 'Undo' and 'Permanent Delete' Options

Deleted records will be prominently highlighted in red for easy identification. You can now access ‘Undo’ and ‘Permanent Delete’ buttons directly from the detail screen of these records. This functionality is available across Supplier Management, Document Management, Asset Management, Problem Management, and Record Management modules.

Highlighting ID Column for Overdue and Incomplete Records

To help you quickly identify critical items, the “ID” column will now be highlighted in red for overdue records and in orange for incomplete records. This feature is available in Supplier Management, Asset Management, Problem Management, Training Management, and Document Management.
